Has Simon Cowell found the missing pieces to his American puzzle?

The X-Factor is set to cross the pond

While the clock counts down until Simon Cowell attempts to take on America with ‘The X Factor’, it has been reported that media mogul Cowell has finally found the two missing pieces to his American puzzle.

Rumours have circulated over recent months who would join Cowell and record producer L.A. Reid on the judging panel. However, the wait seems to finally be over as British X-Factor star Cheryl Cole, and American sweetheart Paula Abdul look set to join the show. 

Abdul was a judge on long-running show ‘American Idol’ for eight seasons and is seen as the big star the American ‘X Factor’ has been missing. While, Cheryl Cole has been a huge success in Britain, many Americans seem to be unsure on her arrival as she is virtually unknown in the USA.

One thing that is for sure is with Simon Cowell spearheading the show, it will bring much excitement and controversy to American television. But with the judging panel not officially announced yet, will Cowell spring any other surprises.
